91% of Kenya population relies on agricultural production for making a livelihood. 31% of agricultural production is wasted. In the case of mango production of paper. 580,000 MT, estimated 64% are wasted, due to different reasons. About 1-2% are rejected at Exporter level. At farm level an estimated amount of 25% is not utilized, due to overproduction, unattractive varieties and maturity. This translates to Loss of income to the company, farmers and labour. We export first grade produce and   collect cosmetically unattractive foods from exporters/ farmers and process them into fruit slices and food powder thus reducing food waste.
